Two men — aged 83 and 21 — were wounded Monday in a shooting in Pomona that resulted in one arrest, police said.
Police responded about 11:15 a.m. to a report that two people had been shot in the 3000 block of Battram Street, according to Pomona police Sgt. Bert Sanchez. They found the victims, both residents of Pomona, suffering from gunshot wounds. The men were taken to a hospital, where they were both in stable condition, Sanchez said.

Detectives and patrol personnel are continuing their investigation and are still looking for additional suspects.”
The recovered vehicle is a gray Chevrolet Impala, the sergeant said, but no information about the arrested person was immediately available.
Anyone with information about the shooting was urged to call the Pomona Police Department at (909) 620-2085.
