A boy was arrested Friday in connection with three armed robberies in the downtown area in which victims were stabbed, police said.
The first stabbing victim was reported at 12:15 a.m. in the 100 block of Lime Avenue, said Long Beach Police Lt. Poe Siavii. That victim was taken to a hospital in serious condition with several wounds not believed to be life- threatening.
Police located the other two victims, he said. One had multiple stab wounds requiring hospitalization and one had superficial wounds treated at the scene.
A boy was arrested and found with property and identification taken from three victims, Siavii said. He was booked on multiple counts of suspicion of armed robbery and assault with a deadly weapon.
Police did not give the boy’s age.
