Authorities Tuesday identified a man who was fatally shot in Bell Gardens and asked anyone with information about the killing to contact investigators.
The shooting occurred about 4:45 p.m. Monday in the 6800 block of Adamson Avenue, said Deputy Guillermina Saldana of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

Jose Pacas-Marquez, 35, of Bell Gardens died at the scene, the coroner’s office reported.
Sheriff’s homicide detectives were assisting Bell Gardens police in the investigation. Anyone with information on the crime was urged to call the Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500.
