Firefighters needed around 20 minutes Wednesday morning to extinguish a structure fire in Laguna Woods.
Firefighters went at 12:59 a.m. to a duplex in the 3200 block of San Amadeo and found a fire burning in the attic of the structure, the Orange County Fire Authority reported.
A knockdown was declared at 1:21 a.m., the OCFA said, but crews remained on scene to extinguish hot spots.
No injuries were reported, no one was displaced, and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
