A man was found dead in Lancaster Thursday, and it was being investigated by sheriff’s the homicide bureau.
The death was reported about 5 a.m. Thursday in the 45200 block of Beech Avenue, east of the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway near the intersection of Sierra Highway and West Avenue I, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name and age were not immediately available.
