Gas prices in the Southland are at their lowest since February, according to reports.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Tuesday to its lowest amount since Feb. 17, decreasing eight-tenths of a cent to $3.781.

The average price has decreased 65 times and been unchanged six times in the past 71 days, dropping 39.8 cents, including seven-tenths of a cent on Sunday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 4.4 cents less than one week ago, 10 cents lower than one month ago and 27.7 cents below what it was one year ago.

The Orange County average price dropped today to its lowest amount since Feb. 13, decreasing seven-tenths of a cent today to $3.747, one day after decreasing four-tenths of a cent.

The Orange County average price is 4.5 cents less than one week ago, 10.3 cents lower than one month ago and 28.5 cents below what it was one year ago.
