A 23-day streak of decreases ended Wednesday when the average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose two-tenths of a cent to $3.715.
The average price dropped 11.5 cents during the streak, including three- tenths of a cent Tuesday, to its lowest amount since Feb. 10.
Despite today’s slight increase, the average price is 2.4 cents less than one week ago, 12 cents lower than one month ago and 21.7 cents below what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The Orange County average price was unchanged, ending a 22-day streak of decreases that dropped the average price to its lowest amount since Feb. 8. The average price decreased 11.4 cents during the streak, including three- tenths of a cent on Tuesday.
The Orange County average price of $3.682 is 2.5 cents less than one week ago, 12.1 cents lower than one month ago and 21.9 cents below what it was one year ago.
