The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Tuesday to its lowest amount since Feb. 9, decreasing six-tenths of a cent to $3.697.

The average price has decreased 29 of the past 30 days and is 1.6 cents less than one week ago, 13.1 cents lower than one month ago and 16.9 cents below what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The Orange County average price dropped seven-tenths of a cent to $3.663, its lowest amount since Feb. 8. It is 1.9 cents less than one week ago, 13.2 cents lower than one month ago and 16.8 cents below what it was one year ago.
