The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County recorded its largest daily decrease since Aug. 7 Thursday, dropping 1.1 cents to $3.678, its lowest amount since Feb. 8.

The average price has decreased 31 of the past 32 days and is 3.5 cents less than one week ago, 14.7 cents lower than one month ago and 17.5 cents below what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The Orange County average price recorded its largest daily decrease since July 17, dropping 1.3 cents to $3.643, its lowest amount since Feb. 7. It is 3.9 cents less than one week ago, 14.9 cents lower than one month ago and 17.2 cents below what it was one year ago.
