The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Tuesday to its lowest amount since Feb. 1, decreasing 1.3 cents to $3.618.
The average price has decreased 13 consecutive days and 36 of the past 37, dropping 21 cents over that span, including six-tenths of a cent on Monday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 7.9 cents less than one week ago, 17.4 cents lower than one month ago and 20.3 cents below what it was one year ago.
The Orange County average price dropped to its lowest amount since Nov. 30, decreasing 1.1 cents to $3.593. It is 7 cents less than one week ago, 16.5 cents lower than one month ago and 18.9 cents below what it was one year ago.
