The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Sunday for the 67th consecutive day, decreasing 1 cent to $3.026, its lowest amount since Oct. 8, 2010.

The average price has decreased 68.9 cents during the streak, including 1.8 cents on Saturday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. The streak is the longest since a 91-day streak from Sept. 17-Dec. 16, 2008.

The average price is 7 cents less than one week ago, 25.3 cents lower than one month ago and 61.7 cents below what it was one year ago.

The Orange County average price dropped 1.2 cents Sunday to $2.983, one day after dropping under $3 for the first time since Oct. 6, 2010.

The Orange County average price has decreased 34 of the past 35 days and is 7.2 cents less than one week ago, 24.2 cents lower than one month ago and 63.8 cents below what it was one year ago.
