The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Wednesday for the 23rd consecutive day and the 24th time in 25 days, decreasing 1.7 cents to $3.721.

The average price has dropped 29.5 cents over the past 25 days, including 1.8 cents on Tuesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 10.9 cents less than one week ago, 11.6 cents lower than one month ago and 42.2 cents below what it was one year ago.

The Orange County average price dropped for the 25th consecutive day, decreasing 2.1 cents to $3.639. It is 12.9 cents less than one week ago, 20.2 cents lower than one month ago and 47.6 cents below what it was one year ago.

The Orange County average price has dropped 36.4 cents over the past 25 days, including 1.8 cents on Tuesday.
