The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Monday for the 28th consecutive day and the 29 time in 30 days, decreasing six-tenths of a cent to $3.661.
The average price has dropped 35.5 cents over the past 30 days, including eight-tenths of a cent on Sunday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 9.5 cents less than one week ago, 35.2 cents lower than one month ago and 47.4 cents below what it was one year ago.
The Orange County average price dropped for the 30th consecutive day, decreasing six-tenths of a cent to $3.587. It is 9.1 cents less than one week ago, 40.9 cents lower than one month ago and 52.5 cents below what it was one year ago.
The Orange County average price has dropped 41.6 cents over the past 30 days, including eight-tenths of a cent on Sunday.
