The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Wednesday for the 43rd time in 44 days, decreasing three-tenths of a cent to $3.556, its lowest amount since April 28.
The average price dropped 41 consecutive days, was unchanged Monday, and decreased a half-cent on Tuesday. It has dropped 45.6 cents over the past 44 days, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 3.2 cents less than one week ago, 30.4 cents lower than one month ago and 61.8 cents below what it was one year ago
The Orange County average price dropped Wednesday for the 46th consecutive day, decreasing one-tenth of a cent to $3.494, its lowest amount since April 27. It is 2.6 cents less than one week ago, 31.5 cents lower than one month ago and 66.8 cents below what it was one year ago.
The Orange County average price has dropped 50.9 cents over the past 46 days, including one-tenth of a cent on Tuesday.
