The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped 2.4 cents Sunday to $3.844, the second consecutive decrease after rising 10 cents over three days.
The average price has dropped 28 of the past 31 days, including 2.1
cents on Saturday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information
Service. It is 2.5 cents more than one week ago but 45.8 cents less than one
month ago and 3.7 cents lower than one year ago.
The Orange County average price dropped 2.4 cents today $3.802, the
second consecutive decrease after rising 10.2 cents over three days.
The average price has dropped 28 of the past 31 days, including nine-
tenths of a cent on Saturday. It is 1.6 cents more than one week ago but 47.3
cents less than one month ago and 4.8 cents lower than one year ago.
