The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Friday to its lowest amount since April 22, decreasing 2 cents to $3.251.
The average price has dropped 34 of the past 35 days, decreasing 63.8 cents, including 2.4 cents on Thursday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 16.2 cents less than one week ago, 55.7 cents lower than one month ago and 51.9 cents below what it was one year ago.
The Orange County average price dropped Friday to its lowest amount since April 18, decreasing 2.2 cents to $3.18.
The Orange County average price has also dropped 34 of the past 35 days, decreasing 65.5 cents, including 2.8 cents on Thursday. It is 17.2 cents less than one week ago, 58.1 cents lower than one month ago and 55.8 cents below what it was one year ago.
