
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Wednesday to its lowest amount since April 17, decreasing 2 cents to $3.174.
The average price has dropped 39 of the past 40 days, decreasing 71.5 cents, including 1.7 cents on Tuesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 12.1 cents less than one week ago, 53.2 cents lower than one month ago and 57.1 cents below what it was one year ago.
The Orange County average price dropped Wednesday to its lowest amount since April 15, decreasing 1.9 cents to $3.097.
The Orange County average price has also dropped 39 of the past 40 days, decreasing 73.2 cents, including 2.2 cents on Tuesday. It is 13.3 cents less than one week ago, 55.3 cents lower than one month ago and 61.3 cents below what it was one year ago.
