The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped one-tenth of a cent Wednesday to $2.748, its lowest amount since Feb. 11.

The average price has dropped 12 consecutive days, decreasing 5.1 cents, including four-tenths of a cent on Tuesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 3.2 cents less than one week ago, 14.9 cents lower than one month ago and 13.2 cents below what it was one year ago.

The Orange County average price dropped Wednesday to its lowest amount since Feb. 10, decreasing three-tenths of a cent to $2.727, 2.9 cents less than one week ago, 13.3 cents lower than one month ago and 11.8 cents below what it was one year ago.

The Orange County average price has dropped 10 of the past 12 days, decreasing 4.7 cents, including three-tenths of a cent on Tuesday.
