Businesses affected by the Aliso Canyon gas leak were urged Friday to fill out an economic injury worksheet to help qualify for small-business loans.

The Los Angeles County Office of Emergency Management said the testimony will help with seeking a U.S. Small Business Administration Declaration, which would lead to low-interest loans being offered to businesses hurt economically by the gas leak.

Thousands of families relocating out of the Porter Ranch and other communities near the Aliso Canyon Gas Storage Facility, where the leak was first discovered more than three months ago, potentially hurting local businesses.
