A fire tore through a popular Los Angeles shoe store Thursday.
The incident unfolded just after 1 a.m., ABC7 reported, when fire crews arrived to Sportie LA at 7753 Melrose Ave. in the Fairfax District of Los Angeles.
The blaze began on the outside, fire crews told the station, before making contact with the building.
The owner of the store, Isack Fadlon, told the station he was “deflated” by the turn of events.
“There’s nothing you can do, you’re just watching the business you built go up in flames,” Fadlon said.
No one was injured in the fire, the station reported, adding that arson investigators were on the scene looking in to what might have caused the blaze.
