
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped three-tenths of a cent Tuesday to $2.923, one day after decreasing four-tenths of a cent.
The average price is two-tenths of a cent less than one week ago, 10.7 cents lower than one month ago and 2 cents below what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The Orange County average price dropped one-tenth of a cent for the second consecutive day to $2.890, four-tenths of a cent less than one week ago, 11.8 cents lower than one month ago and 4.3 cents below what it was one year ago.
