Entrepreneurs from across the region will showcase their business ideas at the Coachella Valley Fast Pitch Competition in Palm Desert Thursday.
The 3 p.m. event at UCR’s Palm Desert campus will have competitors pitching their ideas to a panel of judges.
Fast Pitch competitions are being held across the county this month as part of Riverside County Innovation Month, an effort coordinated to foster awareness of innovation and entrepreneurship within Riverside County.
The winner will represent the Coachella Valley at the county’s Fast Pitch Finale on April 26 in Riverside. Winners of the countywide finale will win cash prizes, according to organizers.
Coachella Valley Fast Pitch winners will meet with a business coach and receive training and feedback prior to the finale.
Subsequent competitions this month will be held in Corona, Riverside and Temecula.
