CBS Friday began streaming the premiere of the drama “God Friended Me” on several online platforms, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
The premiere can be seen at facebook.com/GodfriendedmeCBS, https://twitter.com/GodFriendedMe, on Instagram @GodFriendedMe, on the CBS app, CBS.com, CBS All Access, the network’s digital subscription video-on-demand and live-streaming service, and multiple EST platforms including iTunes, Vudu, Google and Sony.
“God Friended Me” stars Brandon Micheal Hall as Miles Finer, an outspoken atheist whose life is turned upside down when he receives a friend request on social media from God and unwittingly becomes an agent of change in the lives and destinies of others around him.
“God Friended Me” will premiere Sept. 30 on CBS.
“This is a show that deserves advance exposure,” said CBS Marketing Group President George Schweitzer. “Once people see `God Friended Me,’ they respond to its positive and life-affirming values.
“Our marketing strategy is to get it previewed a full month early — free and uninterrupted — so viewers can sample it for themselves and help spread the word to friends and family before the broadcast premiere.”
