Firefighters Sunday morning put out a dumpster fire that extended to a portion of a wall and roof of a restaurant in Riverside.

Firefighters were dispatched to the 2400 block of Main Street at 3:12 a.m. had the blaze under control at 4:34 a.m., the City of Riverside Fire Department reported.

“The main restaurant (Mr. Taco 2) was not damaged by the fire and will be able to open for business as usual,” according to a news statement. “The back building will remain closed pending an inspection by Riverside County Environmental Health.”

No injuries were reported and a cause of the fire was under investigation.
