Los Angeles County’s card rooms and casinos Saturday became the latest businesses to announce closures due to the coronavirus outbreak.
The Commerce Hotel & Casino, The Gardens Casino in Hawaiian Gardens, The Bicycle Hotel & Casino in Bell Gardens and Hollywood Park Casino will close operations beginning this weekend, company officials said Saturday.
The closure will be temporary and all the businesses plan to re-open as soon as possible “based upon the best available information.”
Gov. Gavin Newsom earlier this week urged Californians to cancel large gatherings of more than 250 people.
