All 2,100 part-time employees of the sports and event management companies owned by Henry and Susan Samueli will be paid for current or future rescheduled, postponed or canceled events through June 30.
The promise announced Thursday by the owners of the Anaheim Ducks includes all programs and events at Honda Center scheduled to take place between April 1 and June 30 as well as each of the nine ice and inline sports facilities, the JT Schmid’s Restaurant and Brewery locations in Anaheim and Tustin and the San Diego Gulls of the American Hockey League.
The NHL announced March 12 it was pausing its season because of the coronavirus outbreak. The AHL announced suspension of play the same day.
All The Rinks’ ice and inline venues and Great Park Ice are closed until further notice.
