It took 36 firefighters 10 minutes to put out a rubbish fire inside a commercial building in downtown Los Angeles Saturday evening.

The fire was reported at 7 p.m. at 1334 E. 15th Street, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Nicholas Prange.

Flames were showing when firefighters arrived, Prange said.

By 7:10 p.m., the fire was out and no injuries were reported, he said.

The cause of the fire was under investigation, he said. The building was the site of a previous fire, but it was not disclosed what type of business it was.
