Palm Springs’ trash and recycling provider Tuesday was continuing to reach out to local businesses to let them know they can alter their services in order to save money during the coronavirus pandemic.
The city contracts with an outside firm to provide weekly trash and recycling pick-up within city limits.
“Palm Springs Disposal Services is working with businesses to determine whether they can change the size of their containers or adjust the frequency of pick-ups while their operations may be slower than normal,” according to a city statement.
There are no administrative fees charged for changing services, the city said.
