A person was killed Tuesday in a traffic crash on the southbound Long Beach (710) Freeway in the Commerce area, authorities said.
The crash was reported about 7 a.m. near Washington Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Information was not immediately available on the identity of the fatally injured person.
The No. 1 lane of the southbound freeway was closed while an investigation was conducted into the circumstances of the crash.
