A fire burned through the roof of a commercial building in Compton Wednesday, but no one was hurt.
The fire was reported about 5:45 a.m. in the 2500 block of Alondra Boulevard.
Firefighters extinguished the flames within about an hour. The building houses at least three businesses, including a coin-operated laundry and a thrift store, according to Fox11.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
