Authorities Saturday released the names of a man and a teenage girl who died in a car crash in Westchester.
Los Angeles residents Jake Farmon, 28, and Kimberly Rosales, 17, were positively identified as the two crash fatalities, according to Lt. David Smith of the coroner’s office.
The crash occurred around 9:35 p.m. Thursday at 6830 Westchester Ave., near the Westchester Golf Course, between Sepulveda Boulevard and Lincoln Avenue, according to Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The vehicle apparently struck a median, Prange said.
It was not known if speed or alcohol were factors in the crash.
