A motorcycle rider was taken to the hospital Friday for treatment of serious injuries after crashing in Coachella.
The Riverside County Fire Department responded to a report of a single vehicle crash at 7:54 a.m. in the 49800 block of Avenue 50.
Emergency responders arrived on the scene to find a motorcycle rider down with serious injuries. The patient was taken by ambulance to a hospital for treatment.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
