A motorist was killed and another injured Tuesday in a two-vehicle crash north of Moreno Valley.
The fatal collision was reported at about 1:30 p.m. on San Timoteo Canyon Road, just west of Redlands Boulevard, roughly halfway between Moreno Valley and Redlands, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The agency said a Toyota Camry and another sedan impacted at the location, though the circumstances were unclear.

Riverside County Fire Department crews arrived within a few minutes and pronounced one motorist dead at the scene.
The other driver was taken to Riverside University Medical Center in Moreno Valley for treatment of minor injuries, officials said.
Both sides of San Timoteo Canyon were shut down between Live Oak Canyon Road to the north and Redlands Boulevard to the south until about 4 p.m., while the CHP conducted a preliminary investigation and the wreckage was removed.
