A 66-year-old man whose disappearance prompted the issuance of a Silver Alert has been found, the California Highway Patrol reported Wednesday evening.

The CHP reported around 10:20 p.m. that Samuel Fraticelli had been found. Details about when and where he was found were not released.

Fraticelli had last been seen at approximately 2:30 a.m. Monday near West 245th Street and Western Avenue in Lomita, authorities said.

The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
