A 64-year-old at-risk woman who went missing in Palm Desert Saturday was later located.
The California Highway Patrol cancelled a Silver Alert at about 8:25 Saturday evening after Deborah Belcher-George was found.
She was previously last seen at 1:12 p.m. near the intersection of Portola Avenue and Buckboard Trail, according to the CHP.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearance of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
