Firefighters stopped the forward progress of a fire that broke out Saturday in Jurupa.
The fire was reported around 5:30 a.m. near Clay Street and Van Buren Boulevard. At the time of report, the fire was two acres, but grew to five to seven acres about three hours later, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
No injuries or structure damage was reported. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
