A driver was killed when his vehicle struck a tree in Home Gardens Tuesday evening.
The crash occurred about 7:55 p.m. in the area of Magnolia Avenue and Savannah, the California Highway Patrol reported.
A representative from the coroner’s office was called to the scene at 8:24 p.m.
