An 11-year-old child was killed in a wrong-way crash Wednesday on the Pomona (60) Freeway in the Industry area.
The crash was reported around 4 a.m. on the westbound freeway near Crossroads Parkway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Information was not immediately available on the gender of the child.
ABC7 reported that a second person was injured in the crash and taken to a hospital in unknown condition.
Westbound lanes of the freeway were closed while an investigation was conducted into the crash, but were later reopened.
