Firefighters are battling a rapidly spreading 150-acre brushfire south of Thermal Saturday evening.
The fire was reported at 4:22 p.m. in the 81000 block of Johnson Street, said the Riverside County Fire Department.
No injuries or evacuations were reported, fire officials said.
