Firefighters are battling an attic fire on a multifamily dwelling in Indio Monday.
Firefighters responded at 7:08 a.m. Monday to the 82800 block of Davis Drive to a report of a residential structure fire, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
“Firefighters are on-scene of a multifamily dwelling with a confirmed attic fire,” fire officials said in a statement. “Resources committed several hours checking for extension.”
The Imperial Irrigation District and Southern California Gas Company were requested to the scene, according to fire officials.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
