Firefighters were battling a fire that quickly spread from five to 30 acres in Gavilan Hills Saturday.
The fire was reported around 3:30 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Gavilan and Idaleona Roads, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
The Gavilan fire became the fourth fire that Riverside County firefighters were battling over the weekend.
