Firefighters battled a residential fire in at attic in Indio Sunday, the Riverside County Fire Department announced.
The fire was reported around 1:20 p.m. Sunday in the 43000 block of Arabia Street, where firefighters found the single-family residence with heavy smoke and fire showing.
Firefighters contained the fire by 1:55 p.m., but remained on scene for salvage and overhaul.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was not immediately available.
