Firefighters from the Riverside County Fire Department were battling a fire in Perris Saturday.
The fire was reported around 12:15 p.m. Saturday in the 6100 block of Natwar Lane, where several pallets of cardboard were burning next to a commercial structure, the fire department said.
Nandina Avenue was closed between Patterson Avenue and Interstate 215.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
