Firefighters from the Riverside County Fire Department extracted two people from a single-vehicle crash in Whitewater Sunday.
The crash was reported just before 10 a.m. Sunday on eastbound Interstate 10 near the Whitewater off-ramp, according to the fire department.
The two people who were extracted by firefighters were taken to a hospital with minor and moderate injuries.
The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
