A fire at a detached garage of a vacant two-story building in the Westlake district Wednesday evening was knocked down in 12 minutes with no injuries reported.

Thirty firefighters responded around 7:30 p.m. to the 300 block of North Robinson Street, between the Hollywood (101) Freeway and Temple Street, to a report of a structural fire, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.

What may have sparked the fire was unclear, and the cause remains under investigation.
