A dense fog advisory has been issued for parts of Orange County until 10 a.m. Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

Areas of visibility are one-quarter mile or less in dense fog areas, which include the Orange County coastal and inland areas.

The dense fog advisory is in effect for the cities of Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, San Clemente, Santa Ana, Anaheim, Garden Grove, Irvine, Orange, Fullerton and Mission Viejo.

The dense fog creates hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility. The NWS recommends drivers slow down, use headlights and leave plenty of distance between cars.
