Amid falling rain, a portion of the parking garage facade at the Promenade on the Peninsula mall in Rolling Hills Estates collapsed Wednesday, but no injuries were reported.
The facade near the garage entrance collapsed around 3 p.m. at the mall in the 500 block of Deep Valley Drive, officials said.
No vehicles were damaged and no injuries were reported.
Los Angeles County fire crews responded to the scene and blocked off the garage entrance until the structure could be examined to determine if any more extensive damage was done.
