One person was killed and another was injured Sunday morning during a multi-vehicle crash on the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway in Santa Clarita.
The crash occurred about 1:35 a.m. on the southbound freeway at Newhall Avenue, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Paramedics dispatched to the location at 1:38 a.m. rushed one person to a hospital, according to a county fire department dispatcher. That person’s condition was not known.
A representative from the County of Los Angeles Medical Examiner was dispatched to the scene about 2:30 a.m.
The crash involved a white Chevy Camaro and at least two other vehicles, the CHP said.
A SigAlert, issued at 1:49 a.m. closing the Nos. 2, 3, and 4 lanes of the southbound freeway for an unknown duration, was canceled at 7:43 a.m.
