The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway will operate on a modified scheduled until Jan. 7, and will offer a special holiday menu at both its restaurants for New Year’s Day.
Visitors will have an opportunity to “Ride ‘n’ Dine” with tickets that include Tram admission and dinner at Pines Cafe, according to Tramway public relations manager Madison Morgan. Starting at 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. Monday, Peaks Restaurant and Pines Cafe will serve special holiday dining menus.
Special menus were also offered on Christmas Day.
For the modified schedule, the first tram will go up at 8 a.m. and the last tram will come down at 9:30 p.m., Morgan said. Tram cars depart at least every 30 minutes.
Holiday festivities such as a tree-lighting, events with Santa Claus and choir performances were held earlier in the month.
