Firefighters worked together to put out a fire in a vacant building that was fully-involved in flames Monday morning in San Jacinto.

Fire crews responded at 8:15 a.m. Monday to a report of a single-story structure fire in the 2000 block of South San Jacinto Avenue, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

The Hemet Fire Department also responded and assisted with containment efforts, fire officials said. Resources were expected to remain on the scene for several hours.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
